NORTH WALES

For the benefit of members resident in North Wales, a sub-group of the Merseyside Area was formed. This holds regular meetings on the first (or second) Tuesday of each month commencing at 7.30 p.m. in the premises of the Colwyn Bay Model Railway Club, 2 Compton Yard, Chapel Street, Abergele (located to the rear and left of the "Bull" pub).

It is recommended that visitors check the date and location of meetings, especially if travelling a significant distance, or if the date is on or near a public holiday.

Model Railway & Tramway Exhibition

August 14th & 15th 2010

There will be a range of railway layouts, tramway layouts and sales stands.

Travelling to the show from Chester direction take junction 24 signed Abergele, continue though Abergele straight on till you come to Tesco roundabout (1). Please use their car park (you have the first 3 hours free). When you have parked, go to the far side where you will find an opening, turn right down path then left down roadway then right onto highway. The hall is about 200 yards on the right.

Travelling to the Show from the Conwy direction take junction 23A signed Abergele, at roundabout take 2nd exit, continue under bridge up Dundonald Ave. and Water St. to traffic lights, turn right to Tesco then follow no (1) above.

Travelling to the Show from Rhyl, at Pensarn roundabout take 1st exit, continue under bridge up Dundonald Ave. and Water street to traffic lights, turn right to Tesco then follow no (1) above.

Opening times will be 10.30 am - 5.00 pm

Admission charges: Adults £2.30, OAPs £2.00, Children free with Adults
