LEICESTER MEETINGS

There is no formal group in Leicester, but TLRS member Bob Bracegirdle organises meetings for tramway enthusiasts in the area.

The meeting place is St. Peter's Church Hall in Wigston Road, Oadby. This is 3 miles from Leicester City Centre and anyone needing more information should contact the organiser. Meetings start at 7.45 pm for 8.00 pm and a small donation towards the cost of room hire, refreshments, and speaker's expenses is expected (around one pound).

Meetings are on the fourth Friday of the month (note this is not always the last Friday) and are held from September to April with the exception of December. Everyone is welcome to the meetings, be they members of the TLRS, TMS, or LRTA or not. All you need is an interest in transport.
